30 ACs In CM's House, Power-Bill @ Rs 1.35 lakh

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could no more claim himself to be a representative of 'Aam Admi' after the electricity bill at his official residence in New Delhi went up to Rs 1.35 lakh for a single month.

Kejriwal's residence at Flag Staff Road in Civil Lines have two metres which fall in domestic category. While one of them with 34 kW load is for the household chores, The other one with 70kW load is for office use. The First Meter recorded consumption of 2,510 units with amount payable Rs 22,689, Secondary Meter recorded consumption of 11,637 units with amount payable Rs 1,13,598 by Jun 8th. CM's residence altogether have 30 air-conditioners bur there is no clarity on how of them were in his private area.

Tata Power Delhi is likely to issue a notice to the CM's Residence for misinterpretation of facts on grounds that commercial tariff should be levied on the secondary meter which is being used for office related works such as meetings with partymen and for holding Janta Durbars
