After some stunning performances in the league matches, Indian cricket team has lost the crucial semi-final match against Australia. Though there was not much disappointment with the team's performance, the fans have targeted vice captain Virat Kohli with some abuses on social media. Most of the people have linked his girlfriend Anushka Sharma's presence in Australia with Kohli's lack of concentration.
When asked about the same at a recent press meet, Kohli thrashed the media for focusing on such a lame topic. "It was a huge disappointment to see people's negative reaction over our only defeat in the whole tournament. I was deeply hurt with the way people have dragged my personal relations into my profession. How can anyone gets disturbed with the presence of his loved ones? After being the biggest contributor to the team and dedicating myself for the country, receiving such a flak from the fellow countrymen is unwarranted," said Virat Kohli.
