Telangana State Eamcet exam will be held on May 15th and the last date for submitting the applications was yesterday. The official reports say that the exam board has received around 2,27,000 applications in total and out of which 41,000 applications were from the state of Andhra Pradesh. This was confirmed by the TS Eamcet convener NV Ramana Rao.
As a huge number of applicants [around 20%] are from Andhra region, the demand for setting up the local exam centers is still under consideration. The final decision regarding the same will be out in a day or two. AP government has already sent an official request asking the TS Eamcet board to have examination centers in AP.
Apart from the 41,000 applications of AP students, the majority of the rest of applicants are from Hyderabad region. On the other hand, AP Eamcet that'll be conducted by JNTU, Kakinada will stop taking applications from tomorrow. As per the trends of AP Eamcet, there will be hardly any applications from Telangana state or requests for exam centers in Telangana.
