Australian opener Aaron Finch has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League with hamstring injury. Finch injured his hamstring while completing a single in the fourth over of the match against Rajasthan Royals on April 14th before he had to be helped off the ground by members of Mumbai’s support staff. Finch underwent a scan on Wednesday and tweeted that the results had not been good.
Finch tweeted : “Looks like I’ll be out of the rest of @IPL at this stage! The scan showed a bit of damage, absolutely shattered”!
Australia’s T20 captain has played three matches this season for Mumbai Indians – his fifth IPL franchise – and scored 23 runs at an average of 11.50.
