Plans are on to build the biggest super highway which will connect UK and USA via Russia with spanning half the circumference of the globe. The mega route will be 12,400 miles from the western edge of Russia to the Bering Strait where the country nudges Alaska. The plan unveiled at a meeting at the Russian Academy of Science and presented by the head of Russia Rail Vladimir Yakunin. Trillian dollars will be spent on this Highway which will be from Uk to Alaska.
While roads exist across much of Russia some are of dismal quality, especially in the east of the country.
