11 girls escape from Govt Rescue Home in Hyderabad, say it turned into jail

In September last year, the 15-year-old Navya's mother tried to forcible marry her off. Navya complained to the police and was brought to the government Girls Rescue Home in Hyderabad. Navya said she and 10 others ran away from the government-run Girls Rescue Home on Wednesday morning to tell the world about the kind of conditions in which they are forced to live. Telangana Child and Welfare Minister has ordered a probe to find out why the girls did not want to stay at the rescue home.
