TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah arrested by ACB

In another jolt to Telugu Desam Party, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in connection with Note for Vote scandal.  Sandra who has been dodging ACB interrogation on health grounds, appeared before the ACB officials on Monday. After the grilling, ACB arrested Telangana TDP MLA as he failed to give satisfactory answers to their questions.

It is learnt that Sandra spoke to 5 MLAs for over 23 times. ACB is reiterating that they have held the MLA with all evidences on hand. On the other hand, Telangana TDP is very angry that ACB has not officially announced Sandra’s arrest until last night. Meanwhile Sandra was sent to Osmania Hospital today morning for medical tests and examination.

On May 31, Kondalgal MLA Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested by the ACB while allegedly paying a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to Elvis Stephenson, a nominated MLA, for supporting TDP nominee Vem Narendar Reddy in the legislative council election. They were released on bail by the High Court last month. While accused number 4 Jerusalem Mattiah is absconding, the ACB held Sandra due to his direct involvement in the case he was held by them.
