In a point-by-point counter attack, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has came down heavily on actor-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan a day after his allegations against the former. In what is considered as befitting counter, Nani strongly retaliated to Pawan's allegations and counter alleged that Pawan is trying to win KCR's appreciation in order to "protect" his assets in Hyderabad and Telangana.

Kesineni Nani further went ahead and told Pawan Kalyan that there's a lot of difference being an actor in film industry and being a politician in public life. "I've answered all your questions. The onus lies on you to answer to my question." On parting note, Kesineni Nani suggested Pawan Kalyan, "I suggest you not to Mortgage Seemandhra Self-Respect at KCR's Feet."
