YS Jagan Reddy, who is out on a bail in the sensational disproportionate assets' case, requested the CBI court to allow him to go to Bengaluru. Jagan told court that he want to visit Bengaluru and spent sometime with his siter Sharmila, brother-in-law Anil and their children. He also cited that in order to travel to Anantapur, Kadapa and Chittoor districts, he has to go to Bengaluru by plane. The CBI court has postponed the hearing on this case to June 26.
It may be recalled that the Principal Special Court for CBI granted bail for YS Jagan Reddy in 2013. It had asked Jagan not to leave Hyderabad and not to influence anybody connected with the case. However, Jagan subsequently managed to get permission from the CBI court to roam around the state free.
Meanwhile, the second accused in the case and YSRCP general secretary Vijay Sai Reddy too appealed the CBI court to extend the deadline period to visit the southern states of India. Court deferred the hearing on this petition to June 29. On other hand, another key accused in the DA-quid pro quo case, Nimmagadda Prasad appealed to court to take off his name from the accused. After debate, CBI court postponed it to June 26.
