Jayalalithaa wins R K Nagar by poll by a landslide

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa won Radha Krishnan Nagar assembly seat by-election defeating her nearest rival and CPI candidate C Mahendran with a huge margin. Party activists were seen celebrating the festive occasion at various places in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Governor Rosaiah has congratulated J Jayalalithaa over her win. This is the seventh by poll victory for AIADMK party since it come to power in 2011.
