Key TS officials on leave with AP govt intensifying phone - Tapping probe

Key officials in TS government have proceeded on leave with AP government intensifying probe into phone-tapping case. Recently, the private mobile service providers appeared before the APCID officials in Vijayawada. Representatives of service providers informed CID officials that a key official in TS Home Department instructed them not to provide any details regarding phone-tapping. Rumours are rife that AP government might serve notices to TS officials, who were allegedly involved in phone-tapping. It is learnt that TS Home Secretary B Venkatesham had gone on a leave two days ago and Intelligence chief Shivadhar Reddy is already on leave.
