Bridegroom absconds on marriage day

A private school teacher got engaged to a graduate who paid Rs. 8 lakh towards dowry. But the boy absconded on the marriage day. The reason? After his engagement, he passed the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC) examination for teachers. Following this 'promotion' in life, the greedy guy is alleged to have run away demanding more dowry. The girl's father lodged a complaint with the police.
