IAF plane lands on highway

Indian Air Force (IAF) officials have successfully landed a Mirage 2000 fighter jet on Agra Yamuna Expressway in Noida near Delhi. The trial is part of a strategy to use national highways for emergency landing. The exercise has taken everyone by surprise. IAF officials said such landings could be carried out in emergencies under certain circumstances.
